Day cruise in the Houseboat

Kerala Houseboat Day Cruise: Check in at 12 hrs. from Kumarakom Jetty

Start cruising through the Vembanad lake which is the largest fresh water lake in Asia, visit R-Block & C-Block (where paddy is cultivated much below the sea level), Pathiramanal Island and also enjoy the panoramic views and the glimpses of the Kerala backwater village life along the banks. Kumarakom is a beautiful village stocked with divine mangroves and coconut groves, lush green paddy fields. Kumarakom bird sanctuary is home to migratory birds. Many luxury Resorts can be seen on the bank of Vembanad Lake at Kumarakom.

Lunch will be served 1300 to 1400 hrs.
After the lunch, cruise back to Kumaramom Jetty (end of your Houseboat day cruise).
Check out by 4 PM

You can also do the backwater cruises in Alleppey & Kumarakom by Shikara Type country boat. This is a better way to do the backwater cruise as the small boat can take you through narrow canals and you can watch the backwater village life much closer.

Rates for the cruise:

Total cruising hours – 2 hrs package. (either at Alleppey or at Kumarakom backwaters)

Rate: Rs.3000 for 2 hrs cruise per boat (no lunch possible).

Capacity: 1 to 6 persons.

If you require extra hour of cruise, supplement Rs.1000 per each extra hr.
