Start cruising through the Punnamada Lake – the venue of famous Nehru Trophy boat race. Enter the enchanting waters of the Vembanad Lake, enjoy the panoramic views and the glimpses of the Kerala backwater village life along the banks. You can visit Chambakkulam Church and the famous race boat of Chambakkulam Chundan.

Lunch will be served 1300 to 1400 hrs.
After the lunch, cruise back to Alleppey through SNDP canal, Kuppappuram, Vilakkumaram Thodu.

Start cruising through the Vembanad lake which is the largest fresh water lake in Asia, visit R-Block & C-Block (where paddy is cultivated much below the sea level), Pathiramanal Island and also enjoy the panoramic views and the glimpses of the Kerala backwater village life along the banks. Kumarakom is a beautiful village stocked with divine mangroves and coconut groves, lush green paddy fields. Kumarakom bird sanctuary is home to migratory birds. Many luxury Resorts can be seen on the bank of Vembanad Lake at Kumarakom.

Lunch will be served 1300 to 1400 hrs.
After the lunch, cruise back to Kumaramom Jetty.

You can also do the backwater cruises in Alleppey & Kumarakom by Shikara Type country boat. This is a better way to do the backwater cruise as the small boat can take you through narrow canals and you can watch the backwater village life much closer.
